How does it feel to be recognised and honored for your contribution to the industry?
I am truly honored and humbled. It is a testament to the adventurous journey in the communications space. It feels wonderful to be recognised by India’s leading folks in the industry. It is an empowering feat, to lead by example. Heartfelt thanks to the esteemed jury and e4M for this prestigious recognition.
What are the key trends that you have noticed in the past year in the PR and Corp Comm domain?
Things have changed 360 degrees and have become holistic. Digitisation has changed the game for all sorts of communications. With the advent of the pandemic, consumer behavior is changing rapidly and attention spans are dropping rapidly too. With the emergence of social tech, there is a constant need to innovate to stand out from the competition.
What is that one industry lesson/ experience that you will carry with you throughout your career?
If you never try, you’ll never know!. In the past few years, I have tried newer things, not just in the communications space but on the personal front as well. I believe one should always experiment. There are just so many beautiful things in the Universe to learn.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I envision a more humble, better version of myself, leading change with passion and compassion. I would love to delve into academia and social entrepreneurship. I definitely would be trying new things, outstripping my yesterday with my today and working with more effort than ever before – one campaign at a time, one story at a time, one lesson at a time and one good deed at a time.
